Task Lighting – 360w360 E.151

Task_lightIn this episode of 360 with 360WoodWorking, the 360 guys talk about task lighting – do they use and, if so, what kind.

Join the guys twice each week for six lively minutes of discussion on everything from tools to techniques to wood selection (and more). Chuck & Glen, and sometimes a surprise guest, all have their own opinions. Sometimes they agree and sometimes they don’t, but the conversation is always information packed and lots of fun.

  1. I like the set up in the photo with this post, but it would last about five minutes in my shop before those bulbs were in a million pieces.
I whacked a fixture in my shop the other day taking a board down from the wood rack, and can’t believe it didn’t break.
For extra light, I try to roll my assembly table right under a fluorescent fixture I have set up towards the front of n my shop.
And, on nice days, you can’t beat doing as much work as you can just outside the garage on the driveway.
That’s the best light by far.
