In my article “Second Generation Candlestand,” I improve on a project my Dad first built many years ago as he began his woodworking career – I say improve because I was able to see how two decades of wear and tear can damage a three-legged stand. During the project, I build and use a jig made for fluting the post of the candlestand at a router table. This jig has many uses, so we are presenting it here in the form of a deck. A deck is a series of slides that explain the building process – we first released this idea in “Apple Carrier” in Issue #2.
