Since we began putting up free articles and videos on our website – you do need to register, but there is absolutely no charge to join – we’ve loaded three articles and three videos. Notices on each of these have gone out to our social media accounts, but nothing has been written on our blogs – if you’re old school and not that involved in twitter, Facebook and google +, you may not know they’re available.
So far we’ve posted an article on building a Shaker sewing table (complete with plans), making a sanding block (the perfect way to build your hand-tool skills) and a piece on simple woodworking jigs that every shop needs. Plus, they work.
Our free videos are short clips that have a tip or two focused around woodworking. The three clips now available are, “Buying Old Chisels” with Ron Herman, “Grinder Tips” with Dale Barnard (Dale dishes out tips when using an angle grinder to smooth a free-form sculptural stand), and there’s a clip showing how I use a plunge router to bang out shelf-pin holes.
If you have yet to see these articles and videos, then register for a free membership to 360 Woodworking (go here, everything can be completed on a single page) and take advantage. And if six freebies are enough to entice you to join, remember that each month two new articles and two new videos are posted. You know you’ll join eventually.
