Episode 61 – Artistic Turnings

In this episode of 360 with 360WoodWorking, the 360 guys discuss turnings that aren’t for furniture; no legs, finials or rosettes here. It seems both of the 360 guys got their woodworking start at the lathe. Where did you get your start? And have you done any turning that wasn’t destined to be part of a case piece?

Join the guys twice each week for six lively minutes of discussion on everything from tools to techniques to wood selection (and more). Chuck & Glen, and sometimes a surprise guest, all have their own opinions. Sometimes they agree and sometimes they don’t, but the conversation is always information packed and lots of fun.

  1. There is a line around here somewhere between “woodworking” and sculpture made of wood. Between furniture and studio furniture unencumbered by practicality. Unfortunately this line Like most are clearest seen looking back over ones shoulder.
I know some love it but (With apologies to Dire Straits) It ain’t what ” I ” call rock and roll.
    Thanks Don
