Episode 40 – Stuck on Glue

40_GlueIn this episode of 360 with 360WoodWorking, Ron Herman joins the guys to talk about glues. Ron provides a look into glues his company uses when working on homes, exterior and interior. Glen tells a story about polyurethane glues and how you shouldn’t wash out the empty bottles. Chuck tosses out a wild idea to use the bottles from one company with glue made by another. What?

Join the guys twice each week for six lively minutes of discussion on everything from tools to techniques to wood selection (and more). Chuck & Glen, and sometimes a surprise guest, all have their own opinions. Sometimes they agree and sometimes they don’t, but the conversation is always information packed and lots of fun.

  1. Titebond III works best for me.
Then again, I’m just an old slop-jockey working out of my garage.
Their ready-made hide glue isn’t bad and I use it for complex (needing more open time) projects.
Medium viscosity CA for the real small stuff.
